Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, contributing to the efficient and safe completion of projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.

Carry and distribute materials as directed.

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Follow instructions from supervisors and senior construction workers.

Help erect scaffolding and other temporary structures.

Participate in site safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols.

Support various trades, including carpentry, masonry, and plumbing tasks.

Load and unload construction materials and equipment.

Dig trenches, backfill holes, and perform other earth-moving tasks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.

Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.

Understanding of safety procedures in a construction environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Reliable transportation to job sites.

Willingness to work irregular hours or overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Capability to work in various weather conditions.

Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights when required.
