Portmore Community College invites applications for the post of:
 
1. Assistant Bursar EIGS/BR1
 

The ideal candidate should have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business Studies from a recognized institution.
OR
  • Successful completion of the AAT-Technician Stage/ACCA Level 1 and one (1) year experience in Government Accounting or other relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of ACCPAC and experiece in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Competency in the Microsoft suite of programmes is a must.
  • Training in Government Procurement Guideline would be an asset.

2. Accounting Clerk EIGS/AS2
 
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
  • Associate Degree in Accounting/Business Studies from a recognized institution and one (1) year experience in government accounting or other relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes.
  • Experience working in a government educational institution would be an advantage.
