The entire gameplay loop of FNaF 2’s hardest modes boils down to controlling three core threat vectors within a tight 1.5-second execution cycle:

1. The Music Box Timer (Prize Corner - Cam 11): The Puppet is the only animatronic immune to the Freddy Fazbear Mask. Keeping the winding meter alive is your absolute top priority. In late-game scenarios, never attempt to fully wind the box—wind it for only 3 to 5 clicks per check to avoid staying on the monitor too long.

2. Hallway Threat Suppression: Withered Foxy sits in the main hallway and ignores the mask entirely. The only way to push him back is to flash the hallway light 3 to 4 times in quick succession. Flashing also momentarily stalls incoming threats like Withered Golden Freddy and Toy Chica. FNAF 2

3. Blackout Mask Reaction: When lowering the monitor, an animatronic (such as Withered Bonnie, Withered Chica, or Toy Freddy) may instantly force a room blackout. Equipping the mask in under 0.5 seconds is required to avoid a forced jumpscare.
