For our branch in Jamaica we are looking for:
• Posting of cash and bank transactions in QuickBooks
• Posting of other necessary Journal Entries in QuickBooks
• Monitors and check Account balances especially Cash and Bank Accounts
• Monitors and check Current Account Transactions
• Monitors, validates and summarize expenses made
• Preparation of staff payroll
• Preparation and filing with the government on a monthly basis the following:
- PAYE (Pay as you earn)
- NIS (National Insurance Scheme)
- VAT (Value Added Tax)
• Perform other jobs deemed necessary for maintaining sound and orderly business operation
• Should possess driver's licence
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
• At least 1 year experience in bookkeeping and accounting
• Certified Accounting Technicians' (CAT) Certification
• Should have knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Accounting System
• Should have knowledge with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word
• A minimum of 5 CXC 0' levels including Maths and English
