Job Title: Shadow Teacher / Student Support Assistant Needed
Location: Jamaica
Schedule: Monday – Friday, School Hours
Job Description:
We are seeking a patient, dedicated, and compassionate Shadow Teacher to support a young learner during the school day. The ideal candidate will help the student stay focused on classroom tasks, encourage positive social interactions with peers, and assist with emotional regulation and behavioral support as guided by the classroom teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
 
* Provide one-on-one attention and guidance to the student during class time.
* Help redirect attention and keep the student on task.
* Assist the student in following school routines and instructions.
* Maintain regular, brief updates for the parents regarding daily progress.
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
 
* Prior experience working with children (experience with special education or early childhood development is a major plus).
* Background or active studies in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
* Excellent patience, communication skills, and a nurturing attitude.
* Must provide clean police record, character references, and a valid ID.
