Logistic Manager
Job Purpose
To develop the organization's local logistics entity to cover all aspects of the supply chain from order place to final delivery, provide overall leadership to the local operational team and achieve sales and financial performance targets as defined in the organization's budget.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the multimodal flows from order placed to final delivery by integrating order preparation, customs, transport from production sites and direct distribution or via logistic platforms.
Ensure the achievement of all business objectives.
Grow revenue and manage expenses as per approved annual budgets and targets.
Report financial performance and order KPLs to Head Office.
Ensure key business capabilities locally are fully exploited and utilized.
Engage in commerical business development and customer contract negotiation in collaboration with all business units of the international organization.
Develop locally procurement solutions in collaboration with operations teams, both internally in the group and externally.
Lead and develop a team of dedicated and highly professional supervisors and associates.
Manage performance reviews, coach and give feedback.
Education And Experience:
Post Graduate Degree in International Trade or Transport/Logistics.
Ten (10) years' working experience in the logistics, transport and freight forwarding industry, at least five (5) years at a senior management level.
Good strategic and planning skills.
Proven business development, people management and communication skills.
