Knowledge & Skills

\\

Trains, develops and motivates culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards on a consistent basis

\\

Must have considerable knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service, and of necessary precautionary measures

\\

Excellent knowledge of quality cooking and excellent plate presentations

\\

Ensure all products are prepared in a consistent manner and meet departmental appearance/quality standard

\\

Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices.

\\

To be up to date with product in stock and do market list each week

\\

To do scheduling of kitchen team members and structure designated work areas

\\

Uphold company and kitchen standards of kitchen team members and accordingly to the infraction sheet

\\

Experience & Education

\\

Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or six (6) years’ experience in Culinary Arts or similar position.

\\

Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety

\\

Must be able to stand for long hours

\\

Highly organized with excellent time management

\\

Deadline driven, results oriented and pays attention to details

\\

Able to prioritize multiple requests and action accordingly

\\

Must be hands on and have a strong culinary background and cost control

\\
