Accounting Officer

The Accounting Officer is responsible for the provision of the monthly financial functions of the Company project as well as giving support to the finance team in establishing accounting policies and procedures at All levels.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

\\

q Sorting of invoices for payment ensuring where applicable the invoices are

\\

authorized by the relevant officers

\\

q Prepare requisitions and process cheques

\\

q Ensure that petty cash vouchers are properly prepared and authorized

\\

q Manage petty cash float as required

\\

q Monthly preparation of financial report to meet reporting deadline

\\

q Preparation of bank reconciliation to support the financial report

\\

q Monthly reconciliation of Job ledger

\\

q Support to the Finance team in establishing accounting policies and procedures

\\

Minimum Requirements:

\\

Q MINIMUM AAT

\\

q At least two (2) years’ experience in Accounting

\\

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

\\

q Report writing

\\

q Knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software

\\

q Microsoft Suite

\\
