A 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 121 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque powers the 2011 Mini Cooper. There is a basic six-speed manual with hill-start assistance. According to Mini, a hatchback with a manual transmission can go from 0 to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds (9.7 seconds with the automatic). The front seats of the Mini Cooper are surprisingly roomy considering its little size. The cabin is incredibly airy, and there is plenty of head and legroom.
