DESCRIPTION
Human Resource & Administration Officer
Kris An Charles Investments Co. Ltd. is recruiting for the position of Human Resource & Administration Officer (HRAO). The HRAO is responsible for the day to day operations of Human Resource Department and provides support and advice to Supervisors in identifying various needs of employees and in interpreting and applying the HR policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and selection
- Orientation and transition of new team members
- Designing and implementing Human Resource policies & procedures that support the growth and development of a highly productive and motivated team
- Maintaining a current/relevant Employment Policy/Handbook
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws and current best practices
- Providing advice and assistance to Supervisors/Managers in the preparation of job descriptions and in conducting performance appraisals
- Identifying training and development needs in conjunction with Supervisors/Managers
- Recommending internal and external training and development programmes to meet identified needs
- Coordination and execution of training events
- Counseling of staff and assisting with conflict resolution
- Management and reporting of staff attendance and punctuality
- Maintenance of up to date personnel documents for all employees
- Driving relationship building amongst Departments and team members and implementing programmes to increase staff morale and motivation
- Processing of employee requests for staff loans, status letters etc.
Qualifications
- First Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Minimum of two years’ experience in similar position
